Hi there people ,well to explain a bit i have just purchased a psp off of ebay and am waiting for it to be delivered.
Meanwhile i want to brush up on psp hacking and start downloading games etc
so this causes me dilemas that i need to sort out asap

1. firmware update- this allows the psp to play games downloaded from net to memory card right?
2.To do this firmware update what exactly do i need ? tools ,cables , programs etc ?
3. are there any other things a psp can do apart from games, films,music and photos? any programs to add to get more out of it?

well would like to hear from anyone that has 1st person experience on these themes and therefore hope this thread can be of use 1stly to me and of course to others thanx to all who participate.

1. yes but only custom firmware.
2. if you have firmware above 3.50 you need a pandora battery and a 512mb-4gb memory stick wich you add files onto wich allows you to instal custom firmware or downgrade. for other firmwares you can just use a downgrader located on tis forum.
3. there is homebrew for the psp check them out google =D.
