Ok so Ive got a jap wii chipped I assume, Ive been playing illegal US games.
I put in Okami and it updated the firmware I guess.
I tried to plug in my external hard drive from my computer and it did not work.

And now I cant access my settings.
I dont know which did it but does anyone have any idea whats going on or how to fix it.

Also I plan on buying wii fit and will that be okay to use?

You have semi-bricked your PSP.

Look under the Ultimate sticky thread on how to protect from region brick to figure out what to do with your bricked settings.

You can try the unbrick iso. Have a look at
http://www.coderetard.com/2008/05/22/wii...ario-kart-ssbb/

Did you buy the game or download it. I have found that purchased games (Chinese versions) do not always have the correct region printed on the insert. You need to check before using them. I have several Jxxx games that are either US or PAL and a couple of Uxxx games that are JAP.

If you are unfamiliar with playing US NTSC and PAL games on the JAP Wii take a look at the compatibility list
http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php/W...ty_List:_NTSC-J

Where available, I have found the best solution is to update from the Japanese version of a game before I use the US version (usually with WBB applied to the ISO).

Thanks a lot I'll check those out.

I had no idea what I was getting into with this wii. My friend has a chipped 360 and I do not think he has to do anything like this. Damn Nintendo for protecting their sh!t!!
