K so I've set up a hdd on my ps2 and it works. Bought a network adaptor for my brothers ps2. Finally he cleared his hdd so that I could then format it and install into his ps2.

Formatted using WINHIIP and it formatted fine. Placed the hdd into his ps2 and when I run hdloader it claims that it cannot detect the network adaptor.

One would think that the network adaptor may be at fault, but i used it on my ps2 and it works fine. it seems to be the hdd, it's a Maxtor 200GB hdd was working fine in his PC and yet its not being detected by the ps2.

Using hdloader 0.8c, that goes up to 1TB drives at least doesnt it, so it cant be the fact the drive is too big?

Any ideas?

Never mind it's because I did not have the jumper setting to Master, works now. Mod please close thread.
