You can't play burned discs on the ps2 without some kind of modchip, the independence exploit, or freemcboot.

well, afterdawn does not condone of any illegal software or anything related to piracy, youll need a modchip to play that game, or hdloader, or hdadvance, or usbextreme, or an exploit

It is pretty easy to do you can also use ar max which is the best way to do it.I have just put 160 gb hdd in mine and sold all the games. It soon shuts the kids up in the back of the car. Also trying to download swapmagic and all that sought of stuff is a total waste of time you need the original software like ar max to create an expoit

The MC Exploit (FMCB) works on slim PS2's also. Not all slims but many of them. I think it works on all except the new 9xxxx series.

The best way that i have found to dl ps2 games is through a torrent such which you can get from websites such as edited by ddp then use a progarm that will load your torrent. then burn the game using a good dvd and using a progarm either DVD decrypter ot alcohol 120 or something like that. I do this without a mod chip for i use ESR and it works great but make sure you burn the game at 2.4x speed or slower

Hi,
I'm new and confused.
I have the slim PS2 player.
I don't have a mod chip.
I have downloaded a game using Vuze.
How do I copy it onto a DVD disc and play it on the machine.
Please provide me the required software and a step by step process.
I visited iamanidiot.com and can't find anything on this topic.
Thanks!

LMFAO. Please tell me you didnt go to that site. It was edited in by a mod.
You'll need to check which version of the PSP slim you have. Once you know that you can go a couple routes. I believe (I only own a FAT PS2) you can use a memory card exploit, which doesn't require you opening up your console. Or Swapmagic, which would require you installing a fliptop (really easy to open up the PS2, but it does void your warranty).

Search FMCB on http://psx-scene.com Also let us know the model number of your PS2.

Ok, the model number is SCPH-75001.
Yes, you are talking in a different language to me since I am not familiar with these terminologies.
I am asking for your patient and your guidance. I am not afraid due to my Telecom background.
This is for my 6 year old boy and money is not a luxury to us.
Thanks!

Just get Swap Magic, it works like a charm and it works for ALL games. I couldnt even find one game that didnt work with Swap Magic. Keep in mind you cannot use a pirated copy of Swap Magic because this wont work. It must be a retail version since orginal disks get pressed with some sort of special data and this cannot be replicated by a burner.
Even if you get Swap Magic you still need to open your PS2 and block the sensors. On PS2 v18 you only need to block one sensor (can be done with ducktape). After that you load the Magic Swap disk, remove it insert a burned game and then you can play.

Look up FMCB. It's better than swap magic and runs off your memory card.

For FMCB you need to patch the ISO files before you burn them right?

Yes. Patching is done automatically via a program. I use FMCB and I have yet to find a game that doesn't work.

Well thats my problem I have over more than 55 burned games (unpatched), so this option wont work for me. Really sucks if I knew this before I would have patched the ISOS before I burned them.
