hi folks

my son has just given me his psp to fix, he bought God of War and it was updating the firmware, next thing its got a blank screen and it wont do a thing, i have tried removing the battery and replacing it but to be honest i have not got a clue as i dont play with them, my son is a bit worried and puzzled tho, hope someone can help me

then ur son bricked ur psp while updating. He may have turn the psp off (or ran out of battery) while updating. The only way to fix is to use the pandora battery. Or send it back to SONY

yeah, kind o sussed that now, thanks for the reply, im gonny get onto sony about this one tho, pretty shocking that this can happen so easily, and by the looks of these forums its pretty common too

yeah, its really common. Just make sure next time, when u are updating, dont turn off the psp.
