surreal 64 problems

Just loaded surreal 64 from the AID disk 4.2
Loaded mario kart 64 into the correct folder
Went to play and it hangs on the Loading screen, and never loads.
What do I do?
The rom is fine it plays well on the pc.

there should be different options using 1964, pj64, and ultraHLE, one of them should work flawlessly.

Mario Kart 64 (U) [!].z64
1964 ran slow
pj64 ran slow with a lot more errors
ultraHLE ran a little slow loading but perfect emulation

Make sure the rom name is exactly the same as it is in the surreal.ini file. If you're renaming them it's best to use the alternate title.
