I've been reading up on modchip crack downs in the US and i can't figure out if they are illegal to buy and have or if they are just illegal to sell. Does anyone know for sure?

i was also wondering this
i researched this and found the same as you,
every site had a different answer some say its illegal to own, some say its illegal to sell, and some say its not illegal to own but its illegal to install it on my console
i was looking at a mod chip for my 360 but i found no people will ship to the U.S.A


i to would like to know the answer thanks in advance
