Who really cares. And who are the retards that actually use it anyways. Most if not all of the music can be found else where for free (HE HE). The same goes for the movies and tv shows. Then all you have to do is convert it into a compatible format to use on an ipod/turd. Of course most people are just too lazy to take the time to do this.

You shouldn't make such a blanket statement like that. I personally have used the service, I just happen to believe in supporting the artist that I like...at least once. And I'm am neither lazy nor stupid. And the format for an iPod is the same as a Zune/Turd...mp4.
And retard is a very ugly word...wait till you have one in your family you won't use it so easily.

Yes it was a very blanket statement. In the sense of very dumb people not the mentally challenged. Who I would never make fun of. My definition of retard has nothing to do with mentally challenged people. And why do you believe you are supporting your favorite artist. iTunes/apple are just as bad as the big labels.

Not saying you were making fun of anyone, just saying that it is an ugly word. My understanding of the definition for the "N" word has nothing to do with black people, but that doesn't make it right to use it. And I payed for all of my Tool, APC,and Puscifer CD's. I even paid for a song off of iTunes. I only did it once an don't plan to do it again.

The record labels and Apple get the money from ITUNES. Not a dime goes to the artist.

You are in danger of sounding like an emo kid. It's called capitalism, and it's how our economy works.

I've purchased more cd's than I now what to do with. I have a 3'x3'x3' cardboard box full of empty cd cases. Mostly just to show someone (If they ask) that I have purchased a lot of music. I have used iTunes but just for their free downloads and a couple of podcasts I wanted to watch. I also own an extensive DVD collection. I've also downloaded (via torrents)hundreds of movies and possibly thousands of Mp3's. Yes there are some decent movies/cd's out there. But for people like me. The price is too high for one or possibly two good songs. Granted I could just buy them online one track at a time. But for people like me. We want to be able to whatever we please with our purchased goods. Not be hampered by lame DRM. If everything was the way that the likes of RIAA and MPAA. Someone that purchased a DVD or CD watched/listened to it then loaned it to a friend to watch it they would be considered a pirate.

Not even Apple gets very much, there was an article on here about Apple trying to get the labels to give them more money because they are so popular now.

The only song I bought was Lighten Up, Frances by Puscifer, the artist owns the record label. So unless he screwed himself out of his money I think he gets his cut.
