Hi, i'm kinda confused about bricking, i've searched the whole forum but i can't find anything about what type of game causes a console brick, is it an original game, a back-up or both? Also, does the game try to install an update only when your playing online, or even during normal gameplay? Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

You must not have searched much cause this is asked and answered multiple times a week.

Any game bearing an update and not from the same region as your Wii could cause a bricking, be it backup or original.
