PSP or Xbox360, Which to get?

OK, I have a 300$ gift card to CircuitCity and now deciding on which system to get (there's nothing else in the store that I want). I know the potential of x360 but not much for PSP. Do PSPs have MP3 playing feature?

get both...but i would get 360 first then psp.PSP have more things than you could have expected.Musics,videos,internet access,games n many more...

dont u meant "but i would get PSP first then 360" ?
I rather get a 360, only cuz of halo 3 though ... but not everyone likes halo. So if u arent a halo fan i rather stick with the psp

yeah I'm not really a big fan of halo (anymore), it's still fun to play every now and then... but I guess it depends on what you want most... psp, has movies, games, music (in-game with "add-ons"), picture viewing, internet browsers, and online gaming... youtube (YAY!!!!)
hmmm 360, Halo, pictures, movies, games, music, pictures, no internet (who cares) online gaming (halo 3, gears of war, call of duty 4, battlefield bad company, and sooo much more...)
what are you looking for most?

no i really meant to say i would get 360 then PSP...
if you didnt really like FPS then get PS3...

I am still doing some more research on both systems. I have a PS3 and assume the music/mp3 feature is the same on PSP as both are using XMB, but homebrew on PSP might open more doors. I'm leaning toward Xbox360 but concern with the 3 ring problem, over heating issue still exist in newer models.

If you like shooters, get the 360, if you like to be frustrated with remote play and the few features of the PSP and PS3 that work properly, get a PSP.
Honestly, just get some PS3 games. I have a PSP and the remote play feature failed 30% of the time, left my PS3 on and never connected 65% of the time and worked perfectly 5% of the time. Other than that, what other features can the PS3 and PSP do that a PSP modded can't? Do you really want to play PS1 games on the go? Do you want to listen to music on the go and watch videos after going through and annoying long converting process?
Is the Wii in your choices? Buy that and sell it on ebay or something for cash, possibly more than you paid for it too.

You already have a PS3.Is there any logic in getting an Xbox360? No.But a PSP. Yes,it plays MP3,videos... and so on and on.The XMB is the same as in the PS3,and you can install custom firmware on a PSP and play games you downloaded from the net.If you own a ''steady'' console like a PS2/PS3,and don't have a portable console? Get the PSP,with no doubt.
You either die as a hero,or you live long enough to see yourself become a villain...

well if ou are looking to hack go with the psp and if you are looking for excellent gaming quality get the 360 although you will save money buying the psp

i would get a psp cuz if your looking for online play ... its free as the xbox360 is not the psp is capable of playing music and video and viewing pictures and has its own browser (wich is not youtube compatible) and has some really damn good games (e.g. brave story new traveler , midnight club 3 , (soon :spore) etc etc.) and people have made some really great mods and homebrew applications for it ... and did i mention its portable? ... but if you would rather get the xbox then go right ahead .. just stating the better choice thas all ;]
