You're in the P2P section...
You need to get your PSP to detect the access point (linksys) and then you type your password of you have.

Hey what kind of router do you have? Some router you have to set different settings to make your psp to be able to connect to the router.

i got the same message when i 'first' tried (without the manual) to set up my psp to wifi. I needed to READ. I was missing a step. Try using the manual first (if, you havent already) whilst doing this.

By using the manual....and using some logic....i managed to get past this. Just give it a go.......and use ^^^^ amazing sometimes..lil simple things, missed....or read incorrectly...can cause this sort of trouble. OR, in my case...umm thinkin lmao,,,,,i dont neeeeed the manual. :| ya do.

Good Luck. Let us know.

Make sure you have entered the right WPA/WEP code, if that fails try turning security on your router off and see if you can connect, if so change from WPA/WEP to the other

no one here would know that, and thats the way its suppose to be you need to log into your router and set it yourself or use the one already generated if your router is already setup for wep or wpa, igts usually a 26 character length key with 0-9 A-f and if your using a linksys router goto http://192.168.1.1 and the default password is "admin" then http://192.168.1.1/WL_WPATable.asp and you would input Key 1 in your psp

no one can give you any of that information, some things you have to do and learn on your own.
first thing you do is create a new connect and scan for available wifi routers broadcasting in your area, if you find yours and it has WEP or WPA security you need to type in the KEY that you have your router set on and only you can find this out by logging into your router so read the previous posts on how to do this with a linksys router also try going to www.portforward.com for instructions on how to do that with other routers and if you don't have a wifi router you can try scanning for people that are broadcasting their SSIDs with there wifi routers that have no security and just accept the settings as the default til it gets to test connection and as long as its above 75% you should be able to get online fine.
