I'm a bit confused as to what actual chiptype my wii is. I've searched and read and searched and read and saw alot of things saying that it is not moddable but then i've seen other things that say that it is. So i've decided to post some pics to you experts out there to see what you say... assuming you take to time to look =)

Its a D2C, Look at the small black square. its printed on there.

Its a D2C chipset and IS moddable. The D2C's were unmoddable for awhile but there are plenty of chips now that will work. However, they no longer use the solder points in your first picture. Look up a wii-clip, thats going to be your easiest bet to mod your console.

Well I'm still waiting for it in the mail hopefully I can handle it, I've never really done any soldering, but I've done a ton of soft mods.
