Hey everyone

As in the past and present for Wii Artifacts issue. In many forums i see that Wii Connect 24 is a factor of causing artifacts on Wii Consoles. Some experinced it and some not. In other forums ive seen they said it was the Wii Connect 24 that triggers it. As i searched around google and happen to run across a breakdown tutorial for the Wii. One area i was looking for is the Motherboard itself where it hold GPU Chip. Well what you know there it is. Which has a heat sink over it along with the Cpu chip. A friend told me also it can be caused from overheating which literaly fries up the thermal paste from the GPU. Has anyone thought of re-applying Arctic 5 Thermal Paste on the GPU and re-seat it. Ive build many gaming computers for friends and most common issues they run into is ARTIFACT on video card. Always i see from the PC video card from the chip to heatsink, all dried up which will causes Artifacts on a PC Video card. Just wondering if anyone every tried this method. My 7 yr old sons Wii is starting to show Artifacts on the Wii Menu but not as bad ive seen in other forums Picture that members posted. Heres a picture of the Mobo of the Wii and anyone feel free to give me your feedback as im waiting for my Tri-Wing to see what shape is in the Gpu/Cpu chip is in/ Thanks in advance for your replies.
