DVD compatibility question...

Hello everybody, I have a Panasonic DMR-E80H desktop dvd recorder and also a Pioneer DVR-104 installed in my computer. I have noticed that discs that I record (no matter what brand) that I record in my standalone, they play in my Playstation 2, however, those that I record on my computer, it recognizes the disc a "DVD Video", but fails to play it. Why is this? Thanks to all!

You might need a firmware upgrade for your 104, could be many other things. Tell us about your computer, your OS, what programs you are using, and what you are trying to copy.
We might be able to figure this out, we just need a bit more info. :D
