I have two drives... im trying to spoof the hitachi to work in a samsung console. I followed the instructions on a tutorial from http://robinhoodsplayground.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=110... and when i went to try it, neither a regular game nor a backup copy worked(it gave the error that it was not a real xbox360 disc) but it did load to the dashboard.

So naturally, i went to try to put my hitachi in modeB to restore the orig firmware and that wont work now. I ran slax and it just runs through everything without going to the spinning up disc.

Since this didnt work, i tried running the samsung to see if SAMREAD would work but when i loaded it up, my computer gets to the part where it detects the sata controller, i hit ok, and turn off the console... 10-15 secs later i turn it on and it wont backup my firmware... it just sits there

Any ideas of whats wrong? Thanks a lot for any help!
