So I'm able to get my PC and XBOX all connected fine through Flash FXP. I was able to edit my evox.ini file and transfer over some roms.
However, I can't seem to copy certain files from my PC to my XBOX. Specifically PCSXbox .bin and .cue files and any video files. Docs, pics, and music all seem to transfer fine but when I try to copy those mentioned above, FlashFXP says, "File Transfer Failed."
When I try FTP ing these files through Internet Explorer, Windows tells me:
An error occurred copying a file to the FTP Server. Make sure you have permission to put files on the server.
Details:
200 Type set to IMAGE.
502 pasv is not implemented.
200 Type set to IMAGE.
200 Port command ok.
426 Connection closed, file opening failed.
But again, docs or other files seem to work fine. Can anyone help me? Don't know what to do - thanks!
Do you have enough space in the target directory?.. Either that or the filename contains "illegal" characters" or the filename length is too long, max 24 characters including extension...
BTW.. bin/cue probably won't work for the xpcsx emulator.. you should make clone cd type .img files for them to play well ;)
bin/cue files are for nero. Nero sees the cue file and loads the bin file automatically as an image. Just throw a cdr in your comp and burn the image then you can use the filemanager to rip the contents to your xbox.
If you want a way around file names just zip the whole thing (it has to be less than a gig). Then you can go into file manager and unzip the contents and none of the file names will have problems.
