Ok, how do you tell what kind of firmware you samsung has? I'm wondering because everyone talks about ms28 and ms25, but I've never actually seen that printed on a samsung drive. For instance, I flashed a TS-H943, but it had ms28 firmware. Only way I found that out was through FW Toolbox. Is there any other way?
Also, as far as flashing, I've read and performed flashes using MTKflash, but I know it's possible with DOSflash. Could anybody give me a link to a tut using DOSflash, or give me an overview as to incorporate and use DOSflash instead of MTKflash? That would be great!
Will it? Ok, I'll try to pay a little more attention next time.
Thanks
As to the question about DOSflash vs MTKflash

Well, I know those methods. But I'm wondering about DOSflash. I'm wondering because I realize that sometimes you can only re-write a bad flash with DOSflash.
