I agree with him. $1300 for a 37 inch tv in 2011. I can buy a 1080p 37 inch for less than that today... and its 2008. Unless this is 2160p or something amazing, i'll pass.

I was expecting them to say something like in 2011 $1300 will buy you like a 52inch 1080p from a hq brand (Samsung, Sony, etc).

Ya'll are craaaaazzzzy.

37" for 1300 bucks relates to the possibility of a 52 for less than 3 grand. THAT'S AWESOME!!! Right now I'm looking to buy a Sony 52" xbr4 for 2700.00 and the picture on OLED just puts LCD and plasma to shame.

Its true, for a TV that is so thin, has such vibrant colors, true black and huge contrast ratio, $1300 is nothing. Now the real question is can people hold out three years to get one?

I think the real question is will be people be able to convince themselves that every HDTV sold before 2011 has a poor quality image. When they can buy a 52 inch 1080p for $800 or less with the quality equal to or above whats top of the line today, will they spend $1300 for a 37 inch 1080p TV.

The price to size on this is silly I don;t care if the resolution difference is the difference in a 23inch crt computer monitier and a shobby 100$ 15 inch 700.1 or lower LCD TV, only once you get past 5 or 10K to 1 ratio you can tell the diffrance in them anymore 0_o.

BTW how dose one up convert SD content(old game machine, ect) to look better on a HD TV?
