Hi all, a mate of mine has had his 360 flashed for a while now but has all of a sudden lost any picture and all sound, could anyone think of a reason this could of happened, i was thinking it could be something like his sata cable had come adrift somehow or maybe even burnt out, he has changed his AV leads and all that kind of thing, could someone give me some advice please, thanks mike

Overheating GPU would do this.

If all other options no go, take everything out of case, and turn it on with a fan directly over the gpu heatsink. If it starts then it's GPU overheat.

Thanks. He has also informed me that that dvd tray is struggling to open. Am thinking it could be his drive thats totally knackered...
