I set up my two comps before with a router and modem with ethernet cables, and now my friend wants to set up his. But his consists of being wireless. Now here is the question, do i do everything the same, like settings wise, as i would for using ethernet but just for wireless? I wasnt sure if it would be set differently or not.

Like the hawk said, wrong forum, but anyways.

Wireless will still neep TCPIP configuring in the same way as cabled networks, but you will have extra things like the rf network name you are on and any encryption you may have on that wireless network.
