ok, so ive ran into a little problem. To sum it up, i used the wrong key by accident (for my spoof of samsung drive to hitachi drive) but flashed and spoofed everything correctly. The only thing was when i booted to the dash, it wouldnt read anything. I tried to go back into modeB for my Hitachi but to my surprise, i could not get into modeB for the life of me. I tried everything but the crosswire trick..... can you get back into modeB on a Spoofed drive to restore old firmware and/or despoof it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Ok, ive been at this for a couple days now and still cant get into modeB via hotswap or slax(i can with another hitachi.. i tried my friend's drive). Can anyone help at all? ive been reading up and cant seem to find anything about this. If there is something, can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks a lot!
I have never been able to get a hitatchi into mode b without the hotwire trick, slax, ntfs for dos, fiddling for hours,two straightend paperclip and hotwire trick, everytime in seconds....
Soon as green light comes on let go of clips so they seperate, powerlight flashes on and off repeatadly, job done.
As for your samsung/hitachi no clue! give it a go, new samsungs are around £20 on ebay.
are those laser's actually legit? Also, are they hard to install? I saw that they come from like china and such and that they work for different system drives.. like ps2, 360.. and so on... thanks for the help!
