HELP with Apex AD 5131 DvD Player

I had 2 of the same model, and they both have the same problem hit within a week of eachother, for some reason
they both just stopped playing DvD's. Store bought or whatever I make on the comp. I returned 1 unit, but the 2nd one went a few days later, but it still plays vcd's, and svcd's. I went over the setting and it is set for multi (ntsc, pal) I even just tried ntsc setting with no luck.....

anyone know of a solution ? I like the fact that this model has a 3 disk tray, and would like to find a solution..
