Just wanted to thank author of http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_jump.cfm/290124/1655425

I have been experiencing problems with the center speaker after the amp has warmed up where the sound goes after I get a lot of relay switching...

I opened the amp and resoldered the connecters on the relays and all is working perfectly :)

I know its a v.old amp, and previous thread is 2yrs+ old, but just in case anyone else searches and comes across the previous post I just wanted to include my little howto of what I did for prosperity.

Opening the case.
1. At the back are 6 little black screws. Remove all 6 of these. You will need them all removed by the end.
2. Slide back the top plastic casing a little and then it should lift off presenting you with a metal cage.
3. Remove the brass screws securing the top part of the cage, lift from the back end and slide back to remove.
4. Now you need to remove the bottom plastic casing. There are 4 black screws in the four extreme corners of the internals. Remove these and slide back and lift like top.

Now we need to get to the power board
5. Remove the 3 screws holding in the digital logic board (upside down green board) and lift from the outer edge to disengage 2 connectors.
6. One of the inner edge connectors on the logic board connects to 3 points on the power board - I plugged it out on the logic board, but you could plug out all 3 on the power board, then lift the logic board out of the way. Watch out for some of the cables kept in place by some insulated wire holders.

Now you should see the power board in all it's glory. On mine the relays are 3 blue rectangular boxes just behind the RCA jacks. Next phase is to get to the underneath for soldering..
7. To do this you need to remove the 6 screws holding in the power board.
8. On mine you need to cut the ties holding in the power cord and remove it off to one side
9. then slide out the power board by lifting up close to the fan and pull clear. The board won't come out any other way.

Now with the board out it's time to solder. Have a look where the blue relays are on the component side and keep a picture in your mind where they are.
10. Now on the reverse side find the locations silk screened on to the board for Qxxx parts. These are the relays. Inspect the joints and you should see slight cracking in the joints.
11. Now solder the 6 points around the silk screened rectangles to fix and reassemble.

Hopefully this will help anyone else who needs this in the future.
