Backing up Wii games using 8082N Drive?

I've followed all of the steps from rawdump to image burn etc... However, when I put the completed copy of the game in the Wii, it freezes the console. I've tried changing the media from Memorex -R to Verbatim -R. Is there a specific type of verbatim disc that I should be using since those seem to be the weapon of choice from what I've read? Not sure what the issue is. I have a newer model wii and the chip is aragon. Any suggestions?
