Hi there, i wanted to ask if PSX EBOOT.PBP files will work on the new 3.95 GEN-2 CFW (i think that is the new one).

I own a PSP Classic and will be getting a Datel Tool Batterie soon and will use this Guide posted by larrylje on AD.

from what ive read they should(im sticking with m33 so im not gonna test it) and datels are over priced try dealextreme.com its 10.50$+free shipping from hong kong. some say they lag on shipping but mine came in a week to california

why not go with 3.71m33-4 or 3.90m33-3 your not missing much 3.71 has best psx support and 3.90 has all the newer feauures and psx support the only difference ive seen between gen and 3.90m33 is the in xmb recovery menu. also gen isnt better because its on 3.95 its just based off of the 3.95 kernal i believe

ill go with the 3.90m33 (i think that is the one u end up with wen u follow the guide i linked.)

i dont actualy know wat the recovery menu does but i thought it would be best to go for the latest version.
like i said im pretty new to this and haven't got any experience, iv yet to mode my psp and wanna get as much info as i can so i know wat version to go for what one is has better compatibility.

what advantages will i have with the 3.90 over the others im looking to use it for playing psp games (obviously lol) and playing old time classics from GBA, Snes etc. all the while grabbing the nifty new features of the psp.

your last 2 threads have been very helpfull, thanks alot!

Aughhh...POPS work as good on GEN as on M33, since its the same code, reverse engineered.
