Any comment on Video component output?

I am new with psp. Anyone has experience with video component output? I wonder if the video or game played on TV or LCD is clear and good. Is the converted resolution of the video file good enough?

i have the component cables, and i tried them on my 42" LG tv. picture quality is clear, but considering it only renders at 480p max, it only uses a certain amount of the screen, with huge black bars on top and bottom.

what inch tv would u suggest to use to play with out all the black at the top and bototm?

i have component cables on a non hd tv. while i cant play games cause there is no progressive scan, the videos are nice. And if you go under settings on your psp, and tv out settings or sumting like that. You can change the way it is put out so it looks good on your tv. Mine has no black bars or nything the whole screen is filled. I use 16:9 Ratio

yea but when u play games u see nice black border all around =] i tried at friends house same settings nice black borders =D
