Are flashed drives at risk from Xbox emulation updates

Hi folks!!!!


I recently bought a flashed Xbox360 from a friend and I want to see if I can also play some of my old Xbox games that I still have. I don't have a broadband connection at home and so my console is offline. I know that you can download a file from xbox.com, burn it into a CD and install it on the 360 so you can play old Xbox games. My question is, am I at risk of "unflashing" my drive or otherwise screwing things up in some other way if I do this??

I would appreciate any comments on this issue

No, it's fine. I did think with my flashed xbox, nothing bad happened. Flashing your xbox is flashing the DVD FW, updating to play xbox1 games is installing a emu on HDD. Seperate things.
