wad you mean there are many different things that the recovery mode can do i can spend time explaining them all and there are 2 i dont know what do myself

cpu speed is changing the cpu speed of the game or the xmb cpu speed is recorded in frequency with the psp it has a max of 333megaHz i think the pentium 2 had less power than the psp cpu.

the higher the frequency the quicker stuff can get proccessed. it also has a number next to it i think its 333/266 the 266 is the buffer rate (dont know what its mesured in thinkits bytes per second or bit per second) the higher the buffer rate the more (not quicker) the cpu can proccess

so if you have a slow lagging game the you may want to up the cpu speed and rate so that the game can be proccessed quicker

if theres anything else you want me to explain thats on it please tell me and i should be able to tell you what it does

yer thats the bit i dont understand myself

i think it to do with booting the umd/iso im not sure but i think it can do something to the loader (the drivers m33...)

i also think it has something to do with loading higher fw games on a lower fw psp

i think you can decyped the boot.bin and modifiy it so that it can runon higher fw thats why you may need to enable it

but im all a bit clueless on it im sure someone will be able to tell you
