Best DVD Program Out There.

I need to know what program can I get that will give me the best dvd quality for my backups. thanks.

Hi,

I have had very good results with DVD Decrypter and Nero 6. Using Ritek dvd- r G04 dye discs.I think it helps to use good quality discs.

Hiya,

Also needed for the MAJORITY of DVD rips is a compressor program: suggested are:
DVD2One (compressor only - commercial product)
DVD Shrink (semi-automation - free)

Used between ripping and burning.

Alternative ripper is SmartRipper.

I copied a DVD-9 format DVD and fit it on a 4.3 Gig DVD-R and Played just fine with menues extras and everything.

I Used Smart ripper to decrypt the files and the used Nero recode to make the DVD and It works just find let me know if you need more help on doing it You can also E-mail me at mh249@earthlink.net

1)use Smart Ripper and chose the backup tab on the left,which will decrypt and copy all of the files to Video_Vts on your hard drive.

2) Once smart ripper is done use Nero recode (nero6.0) and select the import DVD option and select the VTS folder on the hard drive Nero will load and recode the files to make them fit on a 4.3 gig cd once Nero is done take the dvd out and play it in your PS2 or Home DVD Player.
