While the following set up works via Windows autoplay by opening my DVD disks (after first setting my 'Shrink preferences), since DVD Shrink 3.2 didn't seem to provide Windows AutoPlay with the handler, to save time and effort backing up DVD's, I found the following set up for Windows AutoPlay and 'Shrink, ref...
To set an application into autoplay list:
1) Find the program you want to add. I usually look on the Start Menu,
right-click the program, choose properties, and copy the target path.
2) Within TweakUI, expand "My Computer" and "Autoplay", at the AutoPlay
Handler window (after clicking the Create button), click the Change Program button and paste in the path from step 1 (if DVD Shrink 3.2, by default mine's "C:\Program Files\DVD Shrink\DVD Shrink 3.2.exe").
3) The icon should appear in the window, but you need need to add a name and description. For Shrink's "Open Disk", I've no idea how to find the "Args" entry the supposed to preceed the "%", nor what's supposed to follow the "%"?
Although I suspect since that part (%) is default entered (mine's '%L'), that part's probably no brainer, and even though I left mine at it's default '%L', this setup results in an inserted DVD 'opening' in 'Shrink and the disk being being previewed. Then all I 'need' do is add/remove any ticks for parts I wanted or not wanted (like 0 bytes audio's, subpicture, etc.), that just leaves my then clicking
'backup', etc.).
4) Check the checkbox(s) for the supported media.
5.) Click "Apply" and "OK".
6.) Likely you'll then need to go to the intended use's optical drive's properties's autoplay and tick 'Shrink for AutoPlay.
