How do I get GPS on the Alias (SCH-u740)?

Is there a GPS application I can load on the Alias (model SCH-u740) and have it read maps from the SD card so I don't have to waste money on the monthly fee? I did it on my Tilt, but it's Windows Mobile and was pretty easy.

What do I have to do to get a GPS application on the Alias without having to pay the monthly fee?
