hello everyone, im having problems with resident evil 0 on my wii, i use image burner program to burn my images and i tryed with all speed from 4X til 1X; on 1X the game boots but after the introduction movie when i start my game, a message pops up saying, disk cannont be read, and when i reinstert the disk, it asks me to turn off the power.
on 4X it boots but right after the warning message ( this game contains blood gore ect) it tells me again that disk cannot be read, and 2X speed, disk is not even readable in the disk channel,im not sure which mod-chip is in my wii, but all i knw is that my wii came from america and it was modded there, so there is quite a chance that its wiikey. i hope some1 can help me ...
Use a quality disk like verbatim and burn at 4x speed and you should have no problems. If it doesn't work with that combination then the .iso image could be duff.
Your playing an ntsc game so you shouldn't need to worry about region override settings.
oh ok thnx ggbarnum, ill try burning it on a verbatim DVD-R @ 4X with ImgBurn rite?
i just hope it works since i wanted to play this game for so long.. :(
but i just hope it doesnt give me a straight CD error like it did with imation DVD-r disk.
you knw ggbarnum i think teh problem is with the iso of the game, because i also downloaded SSB.Melee frm same uploader and it has very minor errors and the disk error occurs rarely... :S and i burned it @ 1X
you knw what actually ??
lemme tell u smtn, i think this is, no maybe this HAS to be the reason why my wii stoped responding to these disks, yesterday before i entered photo channel 1.1, i burned 2 GC games (RE0 disk 1 and Disk2)
before entering the photo channel i just inserted the disks and they appeared straight away without any error, but then when i later on entered the photo channel , my TV screen went black and teh photo channel wudnt load... then i just shuted down my wii, and the next thing i know , it cant identify the disks i burned, and thats when i strted getting these reading disk errors. i think smtn happened to my wii's modd-chip... i guess ill take it back to the store, they may help me.... i hope....
