Hi Everyone, my son brought me a couple of movies that his brother sent him from Michigan....The Incredible Hulk, 21, and another one that's not titled....you know how regular dvd's say "formatted to fit your tv"...so I'm asking my favorite AD friends to tell me how I go about copying them so he can watch them because he said that they don't look right.....I'm glad he thinks I'm capable of doing this but he doesn't know I have a secret weapon (my AD friends :))....my idea is I have to maybe load it on my dvd fab "main movie" but I don't know from there what I have to do to format it for TV.....Thanks for helping me, Mumzee

You Might want to Change the TITLE of your Thread. I don't Think we can help you Back-up "BOOTLEG" Videos, Even if you own the DVD's.

I'm sorry to offend anyone....didn't mean to use the word "Bootleg" that really isn't my style and trust me I usually never get involved with them, until my son asked for help.....I did get the movie copied and I really don't think I can make any changes with getting the fuzziness out because it's still a little blurry and that's what my son is complaining about it.....myself I didn't care because I'm "old school" and that's there's nothing like the original Hulk back in the day.....I don't know how to go back and change my thread title, I looked for it, but couldn't find it.....I will know better next time.. Thanks

I use mediacoder to change resolutions and settings, then convert to dvd with dvdsanta.. very slow process but turns out ok... also the MPlayer program that is in the codec file of the program will set your screen up however you want when playing on your pc..

Thanks for the help, I changed my thread title......I don't know if the movie was downloaded or not.....that's why I won't download any movies because they're never guaranteed to work.....in answer, about changing the resolutions because I'm still new at this, and all I use is just the normal things....always willing to learn something new but in easy steps....Thanks for everyones help.......

EXACTLY.....that's the only way I do it......this came from my son in Michigan to his brother here and my son here thinks he's a perfectionist about things that he complained about it and wanted it fixed.....I told him that should teach him to wait til the movie actually comes out and I'm not wonder woman LOL But it's over and done and he just has to live with it :) Thanks though for being so kind and not ripping my head off for the thread title because everyone had every right too.....but that shows I'm a dummy to that stuff and didn't even realize I messed up til it was too late...so forgive me my AD friends.........
