OLED sounds cool, but I think I'll stick to the old inexpensive reliable cold-cathode light source. It has always work reliably in the past, though I admit my big screen feels like a heater if I get to close, thats why I have a fan to keep me cool.

But honestly, I don't have 5 years and 5 grand to wait around for a 37 inch OLED. When I'm in a nursing home, I think the OLEDS will be the norm, but not today.

My only concern about all this is, Oled is indeed the next step or Laser?
IMO LCD has many years to live.
