Anybody had problems with Kung Fu Panda? I tried rawdump 2.0 and 2.1 it will get to 50,054 and give error of Arithmetic problem. I tried friidump and it get to around 1% it shuts down.
I am at a lost. Have had no problems with anything else.

I didnt have a burn problem, but when i play the game itself it gets to selecting the game level then as its loading the game it says disk could not be read. I had a similar issue with Wall-E when you pick the game to start it stops on the loading screen but stays there permanantly. i have 3.1U wii with wiikey 1.9S installed, all other games work including SSBB and mario kart.

Dual layer disk protection!!!!

(DLDP)

Nasty little item built into a lot of made from movies games and a lot of problems a good example of this iron man if you make a copy of iron man directly the game gets to the loading screen and crashes.

However if you patch the disk the game functions.

This is due to new security in place on certain wii disks simple to fix just resign the disk and run it bad thing firmware 3.3 won't allow resigned disks to function...

Hope fully soon someone will release a patch.

Here is how it works.

They place the game on one layer and the security access on another however when you go to copy the game the only layer that is copyed is the game layer where you need the patch the 2nd layer reamains invisible and there is nothing you can do to copy this layer so have fun this took me a long time to figure out how to get running and boy was it not worth the time it took.

susieqbbb,

Not to doubt you but it doesn't stand to reason that DLDP would cause TCs problem. He can't even DUMP the game.

I hate to admit that I procured an .iso of KFP, but I did, it burned fine and ran fine. I don't know that the .iso poster would have gone through all that trouble to patch the .iso.

I respectfully disagree that Wall-E might be using DLDP as well. I backed up my copy using Rawdump 2.0 with nothing extra and it ran with only a small problem of a cutscene video freezing. Skipping the bad spot resolved that issue.

If I have time I might rent a copy of KFP this weekend and take a look.

I could not get the thing to dump in rawdump or friidump. I tried several times with no luck.
Does DLDP prevent making a ISO?
