i got problems i want to install Xubuntu on my softmodded xbox v1.6 but when it tries to but the cd so i can install then it freezes at the black screen with all the white text. what shall i do? i realy want xubuntu on my xbox

First try burning the iso to a cd-rw.. because most 1.6 will not read a cd-r.. then failing that ftp the opened files across to the hdd. the xubuntu wiki explains it all in great detail.

Haven't ever installed it myself.. seems it will be destructive.
