hi everyone
i am new to the process of converting divx videos to vcd, i spent all last week reading and learning all the programs, i am using:

tmpgenc
virtual dub
g spot

i downloaded 8 episodes of a us tv series, i managed to convert 6 out of the 8 perfectly with no probs, but two of the files have about a 2 second delay from audio to video.

i rip the audio to a wav file first then encode the video and audio seperately in tmpgenc like i was told, the works fine for the 6 but not for the other 2.
just to say that the avi file works perfectly in its original form played in media player but when played in virtual dub the problem is there.

i have read everything i can find on this subject and i have made sure that virtual dub is set to full proccesing mode and i have the conversion set to 44100

below are the audio details when said file is loaded in vdub:

sampling rate 48000hz
channels 2 (stereo)
sample precision n/a
compression fraunhofer 115 mpeg layer 3 codec
layout 38 chunks (1.445 preload)
lenth 40629984 samples (42:27.81)
min/avg/max/total framesize 336/1614/23040(60k)
data rate 128kbps (1.46% overhead)

any help would be really great as this is doing my head in!!
