Can't Save Secret Agent Clank

I can't seem to save Secret Agent Clank. I have the game copied on my memory stick. I beat the first level and then I defeat the criminals in jail with Ratchet, but after the game returns to the start menu without any save. I'm not sure what could be wrong. Are you supposed to be able to save at anypoint throughout the game or are there save points or does the game save automatically by itself? Right now I have modded firmware 3.90 m33-2 installed. And I don't seem to have problems saving other games.

Some games are like that. There's another thread about it. Use a smaller memstick 1gb or less.

Or make sure there's less than 1gb free on the stick.
