MY PC will not read the dvd at all. it says nothing in the drive. what could be the problem. please dont say firmware because I know thats not it. prior to attempting Meet the brown's i ripped and burned drillbit, no problem. this happened on semi pro too but i do not recall what i did, i might have updated the programs. yes my movies are purchase prior to backing up. i do know better
You could try cleaning the disk as best as you can, and if you have another dvd drive, see if that can read it. If not, then it could be a bad press. More and more bad presses seem to be appearing lately.
