Did I brick my Wii??

I have a D2C2 wii purchased May 08. I tried to put in a D2Pro mod chip last night, and After getting the chip wired in, the disc would not spin/load. I'm unable to eject the disc. After that happened I took the chip out. Upon boot up the system would get to the home screen and after about 30 seconds an error screen would pop up that said to eject the disc and consult my manual. If this has been covered already Im sorry,I couldn't seem to find anything with a search.

Any suggestions would be great.
