old psp already running devhook need advise on upgrading

i have recently bought a psp with some sort of custom firmware on it, iot works ok with the games that came with it, but they are a bit old.

its running with devhook 1.60. and it looks like its got firmware up to 2.71

i know that dev hook is really old and am wanting to upgrade it, would i be best off just wiping the memory stick and starting again from scratch ?

there are loads of different thread on here with instructions on but i ont know which one is the best to use, anyone have any reccomendations for me. as you can gather im a bot of a noob to all of this.

what would i be better off upgrading to?

so u have a 1.50 firmware correct?

No one use devhook anymore, since there is no more updates. We use a custom firmare which is more easy to install. Reforat ur stick and do this guide

upgrade to 3.90 M33 firmware. Then reformat ur stick again via psp. After, plug it in and there should be an ISO folder. Put ur ISO in there ...like devhook.
