I have been searching around for a recommended burner to burn 360 backups and found that the Pioneer 111D is the recommended burner. Click on Pioneer 111D for it's link to Amazon. Can anyone tell me if this is the correct one? Is this really the best burner to burn 360 games? If not, which burner is the best for 360 games?

Thanks

Is the auto-book type feature still an issue for DVD burners with burning backups or do the newer 360 firmwares handle that?

The most recommended drive is the Pioneer 115D.

Oh, it's 115D. I thought it was 111D. Can you check if the link below is the correct link to the most recommended burner?

A Pioneer Burner is fine. I was looking for a burner below $50, and this burner is within my price range. I just want to know if the 115D is most recommended or the 111D is the most recommended burner.

I'm sorry that purchasing a drive that has just what he wants is wasting money.

Paying a lot more for one you can get cheaper (that works just as well) is ridiculous. You must own stock in Pioneer or something or maybe you are like a sheep and follow whatever you read and believe some of those people who say "Pioneer will only work".

OK now I know other drives will work I was simply just making a recommendation hence this thread's title. I have read plenty of reviews before purchasing it and it is very favorable. Why would you want to go out of your way to buy another drive just because you think it's too popular? That tells something about yourself doesn't it?

Now I understand that if you want a really low-cost drive then go for something else, but as the OP has said the 115d is affordable for him.
