hey guys

umm

at the moment im haveing a problame with my wii key

i bought it of pinpointgames.com and it came with wires

i am quite good with a soldering iron

i know the exits but theres one i cant accses the 4th

and i dont know if it would be more easy with wires or not

im in england with a PAL console

Ok... well I'm looking at the install diagram http://www.ps2cover.com/images/articles/...-board-zoom.gif and solder points 1 and 2 are under the chip. Solder point 4 is not.

If your wii board does not look like the one under the chip in that picture then you either have a cut-legs D2B wii chipset (and will be very hard to mod with a wiikey, but still possible) or a D2C wii, which can not be modded with a wiikey. If you enter your wii's serial number here http://wiitracker.nintendo-scene.com/search.php it should be able to tell you which is the case.

I'd go for either of the first two - if you're in any doubt whether it might be a D2C v2 go for the D2Pro v2.
