USA WII BUT JAP GAME QUESTION

Im about to get a mod chip for my wii USA version.My question is
if most of the games I own are NTSC/USA games but a few of em
say MADE IN JAPAN but say FOR SALE RENTAL AND USE ONLY IN USA
CANADA MEXICO and LATIN AMERICA does this mean the game is still
a NTSC because it is sold in USA or is it JAP because it is
made in JAPAN?Can a made in JAPAN game be NTSC?And once I mod my USA WII will these JAP games Brick the wii?I dont understand
how if the WII I own is a USA version why does it play these
MADE IN JAPAN GAMES?
