I'm stuck on step 6, where the text is dark blue, i have no idea how to do that, can someone explain this in more detail. How do i "Fill the layer selection with a dark blue (I used #000761)."
thanks in advance

Erm, once you have selected your layer, go to "Edit > Fill..."

On opening Fill, under Contents, click the drop down menu and select "Colour..."

In the new window, put the hexideciaml code into the box marked "#".

Hit "OK" and "OK" again.

I think that should do it, I'm not any where near as good as I used to be with PS; no time to design :(

That's because your "Layer 3" is not set to "Overlay" but to "Normal".

Once again thanks, but when i neon glow it, and finish it it doesn't look like the final picture. Also i don't think it said anything about overlaying the dark blue layer...but it does make some cool effect.

Ok, then hold down shift, and click from your top layer to your text layer and then hit Crtl+E.

Now neon glow the new layer. See how you like that?

It doesn't look exactly as the tut shows it because you did things differently, but I played with it for a while and came up with this:

http://rapidshare.com/files/127433765/KKP2.psd.html

The only difference being it doesn't have the plastic wrap effect as shown exactly in the tut, it was applied slightly differently.

Best I can be bothered to do @ 10:53pm, though.
