Recovering lost Wii Channels

I got duplicate wii News and Forcast channels, when I played the Jap version of Brawl on my wiikey. Recently I set-up the wii homebrew channel and tryed to use the Duplicate Channel Remover to get rid of the Jap ones, it deleted both the Jap and US channels.

I know they can be restored by setting the system to factory default, but from what I've read even if I saved my bought channels onto an SD card, they wouldn't work, not to mention it's just a pain to back-up everything.

Is there any way to restore them?

Do you actually use the news and forecast channels ?

If you do you're the only person I know who does. I would be happy to live without them :)

Ok, sorry to have posted they actually came back on there own.... I played a game for a bit. Came back they were there, asked me for an update, I did and they came back. Nintendo never ceases to amaze me. :)
