Wiikey plays backups but not originals?!

K, so I installed a wiikey for a customer today (About the 60th one i've done), did the update to 1.9s, tested with backups and wii sports and all was good.

Customer calls me a couple hours later and tells me that all his backups are working great but some of his originals arent working.

Originals that are not working:
-Guitar Hero III
-Mario Kart
-A couple others I cant remember which ones

Originals that ARE working
-SSBB
-Wii Sports

The drive is a DMS 3.1U firmware and as stated wiikey 1.9s. Now before I get this guy back in here and try to either re-update his wiikey or replace it, has anyone else come across this before?
