I've went through the steps listed here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/639867, as I am using a Gameshark 2 to move the files from my USB drive to my memory card. However, the trigger disc (Tony Hawk's Pro Skater) still loads like normal, instead of triggering the exploit. Any help would be useful.

FYI
PS2 CD-ROMS don't work with the independance Xploit. You have to use a DVD game disc.
Also, you have to convert a PS2 CD-rom game disc backup to DVD before it will work.
The I-Xploit will not play PSX-ONE game backups
