What are the kinds of firmware that can brick your wii? I heard the firmwares with system updates brick your wii. Well what kind of firmware semi bricks your wii? And I heard that in Radinat Dawn ntsc u there is an audio fix firmware 3.1U , What if you put it in a Ntsc j wii updated by mario kart, will the radiant dawn 3.1U with the audio fix brick it?

This thread tells you all, search would find it...

Short version: If you update with a game from a different region to your Wii, it will either brick or semi-brick.

So version U firmware will brick with a J or E update, version J will brick with a U or E update and version E will brick with a version U or J update.
