ok so here is my situation, my hitachi dvd drive died recently, so i am planning to order a benq.ive been through many sites and google and even xbox-scene.com. Anyways... my question is how would i spoof/register the key into the new benq?


so this is what i think im supposed to do

1.hack the benq drive that i am going to order
2.with the BENQ-CF and BENQ-OF extracted to the iprep flash drive, i open the BENQ-CF one
3.i open the BENQ-CF with firmware toolbox
4.spoof the BENQ-CF firmware and register my previous hitach 79 key
5.open up iprep, and locate the new BENQ-CF that i spoofed ( and then i got an error saying not valid firmware)

just use Firmware Toolbox 4.6. It should be fine.

uhhh firmware toolbox 4.6 can flash benqs ?
can anyone confirm this?
and do i have to go into mode b?
if so how would i do so

No. That's just for spoofing the firmware. There's no one step program to do both. You'll have to flash the Benq in DOS mode with DosFlash. Just google textbook's hacking your xbox 360 for dummies. You can probably find it on here too. Once you get the firmware from your Benq drive with DosFlash, you have to make the hacked firmware the the benq firmware tool in Windows and them spoof and swap the keys with Toolbox.
